The Dr. Robert N. Helm Fund Scholarship was created in honor of a great local physician, Dr. Robert Helm, in appreciation for his dedication and commitment to this local community. Dr. Helm has retired from his private practice but continues to work as the medical director for Pointe Coupee Home Health and Hospice.

The recipient of this award is a hospice team member from each of the two states who has demonstrated outstanding achievements in hospice and end-of-life care.
