During 2018 both Pointe Coupee Hospice and Pointe Coupee Homebound Health were recognized for their outstanding care and outstanding patient and caregiver satisfaction. Pointe Coupee Hospice were the receipt of the 2018 Hospice Honors Award. Pointe Coupee Homebound Health was awarded the 2018 HHCAPS Honors Elite Award. Congratulations to both outstanding local agencies.

This year both Hospice and Home Health were recognized for their outstanding care. Hospice received the "2018 Hospice Honors Award" and Home Health was awarded "2018 HHCAHPS HONORS elite Award". This in part to the great leadership of: Brenda Goode, RN, Home Health Director of Nursing, Jeanine Thibodeaux, RN, Hospice and Home Health Administrator and Dana Gebhart, RN, Hospice Nursing Director pictured here.

Congratulations to our agency administrator, Jeanine L. Thibodeaux, RN, recipient of the Home Care Association of Louisiana award for “Setting an Example for All”. Jeanine was presented this award July 25, 2019 at the HCLA Conference in New Orleans.

This scholarship, created in honor of Dr. Robert N. Helm, is awarded to a senior from each of the three Pointe Coupee Parish high schools. The seniors submit an essay describing their reasons for pursuing a career in the medical profession. Olivia’s parents are Brian and Dianne Beauvais of New Roads.

Pointe Coupee Hospice Volunteer Recognized Nationally

Catholic High School of Pointe Coupee Senior, Olivia Beauvais, was recently nominated by the Pointe Coupee Hospice Staff for the 2018 “Volunteers Are the Foundation of Hospice” Award. This award is presented to an outstanding student hospice volunteer. “Being nominated for this award is a very special honor in and of itself. It signifies how very important Olivia’s contributions are to your hospice and the community”, stated Diane Snyder Cowan, National Council of Hospice and Palliative Care Professionals Awards Committee Chairperson. Out of approximately 200 nominations, Olivia placed in the top 5 in the country in her category.
