CESPC 6th Grade 4-H Donates To Janell LaCombe Fund
This past fall the Catholic Elementary School of Pointe Coupee 6th Grade 4-H Club organized an elementary school fundraiser for the Janell LaCombe Fund. The students could participate in a “free dress” day by donating $2.00. Participation was high allowing the group to raise over $700!
The Pointe Coupee Health Services Foundation Committee would like to thank groups like the CESPC 4-H Club and all the participants of the fundraiser for donating to the Janell LaCombe Fund.

The Pointe Coupee Health Services Foundation Scholarship Committee is proud to announce the False River Academy recipient of the Dr. Robert N. Helm Scholarship for 2020 is Claire Michele Couch.
This scholarship, created in honor of Dr. Robert N. Helm, is awarded to a senior from each of the three Pointe Coupee Parish high schools. The seniors submit an essay describing their reasons for pursuing a career in the medical profession. Olivia’s parents are Brian and Dianne Beauvais of New Roads.

The Dr. Robert N. Helm Fund Scholarship was created in honor of a great local physician, Dr. Robert Helm, in appreciation for his dedication and commitment to this local community. Dr. Helm has retired from his private practice but continues to work as the medical director for Pointe Coupee Home Health and Hospice.
